Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poems of objects by Emperor Qianlong. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 30,468.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Qianlong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems of objects von Emperor Qianlong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 30.468,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
