The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Emperor Qianlong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It achieved a price of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 87,477.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Qianlong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Emperor Qianlong kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 87.477,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
