Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emperor Qianlong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Manuscripts of Yizhai Ji (Discourse of Yizhai) sold for HKD 2,205,000.00 (€ 245,275.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emperor Qianlong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Qianlong erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Manuscripts of Yizhai Ji (Discourse of Yizhai) für HKD 2.205.000,00 (€ 245.275,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
