Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Manuscripts of Royal Palaces by Emperor Qianlong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 2,394,000.00 (€ 266,299.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emperor Qianlong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Manuscripts of Royal Palaces von Emperor Qianlong wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.394.000,00 (€ 266.299,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
