Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Manuscripts of Poems by Emperor Qianlong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 13,314.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Qianlong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Manuscripts of Poems von Emperor Qianlong kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 13.314,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
