Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Manuscripts of Poem of Pine by Emperor Qianlong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,629.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Qianlong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Replanted Wutong Studio in December this year with an auction result of HKD 18,525,000.00 (€ 2,143,554.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Manuscripts of Poem of Pine von Emperor Qianlong kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.629,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Qianlong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Replanted Wutong Studio im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.525.000,00 (€ 2.143.554,51).
