The work Landscapes by Hong Wu was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 8,747.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Wu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).

Die Arbeit Landscapes von Hong Wu wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 8.747,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Wu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08).
