Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hong Wu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 45,834.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Wu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hong Wu kam im Oktober 2013 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 45.834,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hong Wu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08) versteigert wurde.
