The work Calligraphy Scrolls by Hong Wu was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 195,500.00 (€ 19,137.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Admittedly, works by Hong Wu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls von Hong Wu wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 195.500,00 (€ 19.137,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Wu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08).
