Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Phoenix And Lion by Hong Tong. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,413.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Other works by Hong Tong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work White Moon was auctioned for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 105,563.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phoenix And Lion von Hong Tong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.413,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hong Tong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit White Moon für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 105.563,89) versteigert.
