The work 4 Rooms by Hong Kyoung Tack was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. The result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,264.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 200,000.00 – 320,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Kyoung Tack achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,630,000.00 (€ 657,486.91).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 4 Rooms von Hong Kyoung Tack wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.264,19) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 320.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Kyoung Tack erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.630.000,00 (€ 657.486,91).
