The work Bookshelve by Hong Kyoung Tack was worth HKD 907,500.00 (€ 79,332.11) to a buyer in November 2007. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hong Kyoung Tack have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,630,000.00 (€ 657,486.91).

Die Arbeit Bookshelve von Hong Kyoung Tack war einem Käufer im November 2007 HKD 907.500,00 (€ 79.332,11) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Kyoung Tack auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.630.000,00 (€ 657.486,91).
