Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Library #5 by Hong Kyoung Tack was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 156,000.00 (€ 16,245.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Kyoung Tack achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,630,000.00 (€ 657,486.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Library #5 von Hong Kyoung Tack kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 156.000,00 (€ 16.245,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Kyoung Tack erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kyong Tack Hong (b. 1968) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.630.000,00 (€ 657.486,91).
