Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bonded Stones by Hon Chi Fun was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,162.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hon Chi Fun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hsiang 65-5 in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,480.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bonded Stones von Hon Chi Fun wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.162,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hon Chi Fun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hsiang 65-5 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.480,59).
