This artwork by Hishikawa Moronobu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in May 2013. In the Asiatica: Japan, Indien, Südostasien auction, the work Unknown sold for CHF 900.00 (€ 723.09) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hishikawa Moronobu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty turning her head, c. 1690 in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 56,179.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hishikawa Moronobu erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asiatica: Japan, Indien, Südostasien wurde die Arbeit Unknown für CHF 900,00 (€ 723,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hishikawa Moronobu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty turning her head, c. 1690 im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 56.179,78).
