Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Milk; & Green Pea by Hiroyuki Matsuura was auctioned at POLY in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,467.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroyuki Matsuura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).

Die Arbeit Milk; & Green Pea von Hiroyuki Matsuura kam im Dezember 2020 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.467,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
