Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Akatsuki - Murasaki Gatana by Hiroyuki Matsuura was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,034.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroyuki Matsuura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Akatsuki - Murasaki Gatana von Hiroyuki Matsuura wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.034,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
