Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maintenance by Hiroyuki Matsuura was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,894.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 320,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hiroyuki Matsuura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maintenance von Hiroyuki Matsuura wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.894,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
