The work Ducky Brigade (Happy Ever After) by Hiroyuki Matsuura was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It achieved a price of HKD 288,000.00 (€ 35,936.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Hiroyuki Matsuura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).

Die Arbeit Ducky Brigade (Happy Ever After) von Hiroyuki Matsuura kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 288.000,00 (€ 35.936,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
