In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Portrait de femme by Hippolyte Petitjean. The »bidding war« ended at USD 65,000.00 (€ 58,374.49), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hippolyte Petitjean have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,275.67) in March 2018 for the work Femme Au Bord Du Lac.

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait de femme von Hippolyte Petitjean zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 65.000,00 (€ 58.374,49) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Petitjean haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.275,67) im März 2018 für die Arbeit Femme Au Bord Du Lac beobachtet.
