This artwork by Hippolyte Petitjean achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Bord De L'Oise sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,234.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hippolyte Petitjean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Au Bord Du Lac in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,275.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hippolyte Petitjean erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Bord De L'Oise für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.234,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Petitjean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Au Bord Du Lac im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.275,67).
