Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Falaise en provence by Hippolyte Petitjean was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,713.21). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hippolyte Petitjean - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Femme Au Bord Du Lac, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,275.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Falaise en provence von Hippolyte Petitjean kam im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.713,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Petitjean mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Femme Au Bord Du Lac beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.275,67) versteigert wurde.
