The price achieved of USD 288.00 (€ 265.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Herzog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florida Sunset in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 230,500.00 (€ 165,600.98).
