The work Fly Fishing 13 1/2 x 17 in. framed 24 x 27 in. by Hermann Herzog was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,821.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Herzog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florida Sunset in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 230,500.00 (€ 165,600.98).

Die Arbeit Fly Fishing 13 1/2 x 17 in. framed 24 x 27 in. von Hermann Herzog wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.821,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermann Herzog erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Florida Sunset im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 230.500,00 (€ 165.600,98).
