This work without title by Herman de Vries was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,268.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman de Vries achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Random Objectiviation. "V 70 - 25 B" in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 163,250.00 (€ 182,120.55).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Herman de Vries wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.268,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman de Vries erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Random Objectiviation. "V 70 - 25 B" im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.250,00 (€ 182.120,55).
