Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Heri Dono. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,901.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Heri Dono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Heri Dono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.901,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heri Dono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.401,30).
