Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Untitled by Heri Dono. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,707.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Heri Dono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled von Heri Dono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.707,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heri Dono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.401,30).
