Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Indonesia Conspiracy by Heri Dono was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,002.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 140,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heri Dono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE), which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Indonesia Conspiracy von Heri Dono kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.002,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Heri Dono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.401,30) versteigert wurde.
