Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Waiting for master by Herbert Thomas Dicksee was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 525.00 (€ 735.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Thomas Dicksee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dying Lion in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 91,562.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Waiting for master von Herbert Thomas Dicksee kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 525,00 (€ 735,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herbert Thomas Dicksee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dying Lion im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 91.562,90).
