It achieved a price of USD 35,312.50 (€ 29,353.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Herbert Bayer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirage In The Mountains in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 139,427.98).

Die Arbeit 10 Fotomontagen and 10 Fotoplastiken von Herbert Bayer kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.312,50 (€ 29.353,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Bayer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirage In The Mountains im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 139.427,98).
