A top price for Henry William Pickersgill - as previously expected
The work L'improvisatrice by Henry William Pickersgill was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,946.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, L'improvisatrice is the most expensive artwork by Henry William Pickersgill that we have observed at auctions so far.
