Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Iles Glénans by Henry Moret was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 60,480.00 (€ 71,705.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Moret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan, which sold at auction in June 2016 for GBP 200,500.00 (€ 240,665.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Iles Glénans von Henry Moret kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 60.480,00 (€ 71.705,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 45.000,00 – 65.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Moret mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für GBP 200.500,00 (€ 240.665,43) versteigert wurde.
