A top price for Henry Moret - as previously expected
The work L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan by Henry Moret was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 8,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 200,500.00 (€ 240,665.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan is the most expensive artwork by Henry Moret that we have observed at auctions so far.
