A top price for Henry Garland
In August 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish and Sporting Pictures, which included the work Highlanders Going South by Henry Garland. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,304.38), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Highlanders Going South the most expensive artwork by Henry Garland that we have observed at auctions so far.
