Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Highland Drove by Henry Garland. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Henry Garland have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2007 the work Highlanders Going South was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,304.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Highland Drove von Henry Garland zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Henry Garland konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2007 die Arbeit Highlanders Going South für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.304,38) versteigert.
