Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of Mary Emes by Henry Edridge was sold in the Important Miniatures from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,693.01). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Edridge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Mary Emes von Henry Edridge wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.693,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Edridge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.147,32) versteigert wurde.
