Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Young Girl by Henry Edridge was sold in the Important Miniatures from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,780.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Edridge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.780,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
