Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,629.87). Admittedly, works by Henri Ottmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,163.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plage avec personnages von Henri Ottmann kam im April 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.629,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Ottmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.163,37).
