This artwork by Henri Ottmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2013. In the Impressionist/Modern auction, the work La Lecture, Jardin Du Luxembourg sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,163.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Ottmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel., which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,163.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Ottmann erzielte im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist/Modern wurde die Arbeit La Lecture, Jardin Du Luxembourg für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.163,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri Ottmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.163,37) versteigert wurde.
