Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Henri Mège was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,735.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Mège - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Henri Mège kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.735,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri Mège mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70) versteigert wurde.
