Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction La Mystique de L'Indochine, which included the work Le Lac du Bourget (The Lake of Bourget) | 布爾熱湖 by Henri Mège. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,658.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Mège have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion La Mystique de L'Indochine durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Lac du Bourget (The Lake of Bourget) | 布爾熱湖 von Henri Mège zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.658,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Mège auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70).
