It achieved a price of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,790.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Mège - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).
