Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri Le Secq could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes auction, the work Portail Roman, 1851 changed hands for EUR 1,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Le Secq have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Chartres' (Three Statues) in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,027.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Le Secq konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes wechselte die Arbeit Portail Roman, 1851 für EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Le Secq auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Chartres' (Three Statues) im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.027,82).
