Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Beauvais, Porte Gothique, 1851 by Henri Le Secq for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Henri Le Secq have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Chartres' (Three Statues) in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,027.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beauvais, Porte Gothique, 1851 von Henri Le Secq für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Le Secq auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Chartres' (Three Statues) im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.027,82).
