Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Punts moored on still waters by Henri Biva was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,451.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Biva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The woodland pool in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,360.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Punts moored on still waters von Henri Biva wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.451,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Biva auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The woodland pool im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.360,13).
