Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A woodland stream by Henri Biva for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,895.31). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Biva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The woodland pool in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,360.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A woodland stream von Henri Biva für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.895,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Biva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The woodland pool im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.360,13).
