Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A woodland river by Henri Biva for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,184.84). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Henri Biva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The woodland pool in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,360.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A woodland river von Henri Biva für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.184,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Biva auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The woodland pool im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.360,13).
