In the 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art auction, the work Chrysanthemums and roses in a vase on a salver sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,376.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Biva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The woodland pool in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,360.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Biva erzielte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit Chrysanthemums and roses in a vase on a salver für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.376,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Biva auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The woodland pool im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.360,13).
