Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri Biva could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work A woodland pool changed hands for GBP 125.00 (€ 134.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Biva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The woodland pool in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,360.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Biva konnte im März 2009 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit A woodland pool für GBP 125,00 (€ 134,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Biva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The woodland pool im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.360,13).
