The work Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, Grand Duchess of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach (1786-1859), in white dress with frilled sleeves, a frill at her waist, large frilled collar and bonnet, a white hat with feathers on her fair hair by Henri Benner was sold in the Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction at Christies in London in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,751.62). Admittedly, works by Henri Benner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Grand Duke Nicholas Pavlovich, Later Emperor Nicholas I Of Russia (1796-1855), Circa 1821 in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,597.72).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.751,62) einen neuen Besitzer.
